Focus: Staying focused on Christ amidst distractions.
Scripture: "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross..." — Hebrews 12:2a (KJV)
Encouragement: If you look at life's storms, you will sink. If you look at others' mistakes, you will get discouraged. But if you keep your eyes locked securely on Jesus, you will walk on water. The enemy loves to throw distractions, offenses, and bad news our way to pull our focus off God's plan. Keep your gaze fixed on Christ today.
Intercessory Prayer: Father, forgive us for letting the cares, distractions, and screens of this world capture more of our attention than You do. Reset our focus today. Help us to keep our eyes anchored on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, regardless of whatever chaos is happening around us. In Jesus' name, Amen.
